There are five players in the group with decades of experience each. Instrumentation includes synthesizer, guitar, bass, drums, five strong vocalists, and a large measure of enthusiasm! The majority of the playlist is comprised of popular cover material with an emphasis on a dance beat.
The group was actually "born" in Keystone Heights on the Fourth of July in 1981 and played it's first gig at Santa Fe High School for the Valentine's Day Sweetheart Dance. For three decades, Area Code appeared regularly at the likes of Lillian's, Harmonica Joe's, First and Main, Rickenbacker's, Emeralds Lounge, and countless one night stands!
