| Unable to find a band when I first got to Florida, I talked my old friend, Donn Huffman into forming "Double Trouble", a 2 man electric-acoustic act that concentrated mainly on Donn's strong vocals, supported by my electric fills and leads. Worked pretty well, too. We worked steady at Blue Water Bay out in Melrose, The Copper Monkey in Gainesville, and a handful of other small venues. Even after convincing Area Code to hire me, we continued to work for a year or so, before Donn and his wife Marie moved to Ohio. Little known fact: Donn was the one who taught me my first chords, out in Hawai. "What a long strange trip!" | |
